The Florida Wellcare Alliance (FWA) is a limited liability partnership comprised of
Citrus County, Florida physicians representing multiple medical specialties. We
are located in Hernando, in Citrus County, on West Central Florida's scenic Gulf
Coast.
The Florida Wellcare Alliance was formed in 1997 as a means for physicians to
better respond to the changing needs of the community they serve. By joining
together, physicians can combine their intellectual, political and economic
resources to ensure the delivery of superior health services.
Our physicians are dedicated to the principles of patient-oriented, cost-effective
medical treatment despite the problems in today's regulated environment. To
ensure a commitment to excellence, each physician member of FWA receives an
annual evaluation from all of the other members. This feedback is then used to
discover and share concepts to improve quality of care.
