The Florida WellCare Alliance Bi-Annual General Meeting
Malpractice Claims have gone up close to 20% in the South East US including Florida over the past two years. Many claims were the result of risk issues that could have been avoided. MagMutual and the Florida WellCare Alliance will be discussing Risk Reduction Strategies in both Medicine and Information Technology to lower your chances of having a claim filed and reduce malpractice insurance cost overall. All members of the FWA will benefit from the information even if you are not currently utilizing MagMutual as your Insurer. FWA members already enjoy a 10% savings on their malpractice insurance. The goal of this meeting is to get our savings back to 20% .
